RESEARCH:

Our research interest mainly focusses on cultural psychology, especially psychology of indigenous culture. Most of our research efforts have been put on understanding the intergenerational relations with emphasis on parent-child relationships over the adult life span. We are also working on the intergenerational change and transmission of Chinese cultural values.

The on-going projects in we focus on the following themes:

1.intergenerational transmission of filial piety

2.intergenerational transmission and change of values under the background of social transformation

3.longitudinal study of value and trait
