The university-level sampled thesis defense of the 2020 undergraduate students majoring in applied psychology was held smoothly as scheduled on Tencent conference platform on May 28, 2020. Professor Chen Hua served as the director of the defense committee.

At 13:00 the university-level sampled thesis defense came to an end successfully. Entrusted by the defense group leader, Mr. Lei Ming made a summary speech on the university-level sampled defense. He thanked the students and their supervisors for their efforts made over the past 7 months. Then Mr. Lei put forward three specific requirements for the coming school-level thesis defense: First, before students should further enhance the theoretical support of their research, focus on the presentation of problems and the interpretation of results; second, students must complete the inspection work, prepare the originality report, the translated literature, their supervisors’ guidance notes, and other materials; third, students should attach importance to the process of thesis defense, focus on the essence and innovative points of their theses.

At 8:00 on May 30, 2020, the school-level thesis defense of 2020 undergraduates majoring in applied psychology started as scheduled on Tencent conference platform. The students presented their thesis to the judges and other students by sharing the screen, including the significance of their topics, literature review, research methods, results, discussion, conclusion, and limitations. It was a complete display of their achievements over the past four years.

All 84 students passed this year’s thesis defense. The thesis defense gave the students a full sense of ceremony and brought their four-year schooling to successful completion.
