From Dec. 25th to 27th, 2015, the national training aimed at promoting college political instructors’ capability of psychological crisis intervention and mental health education was held in Southwest Jiaotong University. The training was hosted by the Ministry of Education and organized by Southwest Jiaotong University. About 100 college political instructors from 85 colleges and universities attended the training.
Gui Fuqiang, the deputy party secretary of Southwest Jiaotong University, Professor Liang Baoyong from Tianjin University, Professor Ning Weiwei, the director of the Psychological Research and Counseling Center of Southwest Jiaotong University, and Professor Chen Hua, the deputy director of the Psychological Research and Counseling Center of Southwest Jiaotong Unversity attended the opening ceremony. During the 3-day training, Professor Liang Baoyong, Professor Yang Yanchun, Professor Ning Weiwei, and Professor Chen Hua gave lectures to the trainees on psychological crisis intervention and mental health education.
