To provide guidance and suggestions on postgraduate qualification exam for students of grade 2019, Mr. Lei Ming, deputy director of the Psychological Research and Counseling Center (PRCC) hosted a mobilization meeting in classroom x5322 at 3 p.m. on April 17, 2022.

At the meeting, Mr. Lei first introduced schools that had postgraduate programs on psychology or applied psychology. After learning about the general plans and orientations of the students, he then shared his experience on school selection, research orientations, tutor selection, preparation and review for postgraduate qualification exam, summer camp, and postgraduate recommendation.

When talking about the selection of schools and research orientations, Mr. Lei introduced the characteristics of schools offering master-degree programs in psychology. For example, Tsinghua University takes positive psychology as its specialty while Beijing Normal University focuses on brain science research. Mr. Lei hoped that every student should pick their ideal orientation on the basis of his or her research interests.

From this mobilization meeting, the students of grade 2019 felt the care and support from PRCC. Later on, PRCC will carry out more activities in order to help the students to get well prepared for the postgraduate qualification exam and postgraduate recommendation.
